Why does my peace lily not flower?
obviously your not peaceful enough for it.

Just kidding.

I really don%26#039;t know, i have the total opposit to green fingers i kill every plant I have ever owned.
Reply:A good systemic fertilizer like osmocote will give your lily food each time it is watered. You can supplement with miracle grow all-purpose. It is a 15-30-15 which is fine for large areas but you want to concentrate on just one plant.

Use a fertilizer with a higher middle number, or phosphorous content, to encourage blooms. Peters Super Blossom Buster has a 10-50-10 mix of nutrients so will be best for blooms as the middle number is highest.

Also look at where your lily is--did you move it to a lower light situation? Finding the %26#039;happy spot%26#039; is important for good, consistant plant enjoyment.

Reply:They%26#039;re quite greedy and need a lot of feed. Try Miracle Gro granules and a good quality potting compost.
Reply:peace lilys only flower when their roots are pot bound although you repotted it it will take time to flower again feed sparingly and alow the rootball to dry out before rewatering once a week is enough

give it a year and it should start to flower again

they also like shade don%26#039;t put it in bright sunlight
Reply:give it some fertilizer, and talk to it nicely.
Reply:Peace Lily plant is one of the few flowering plants that grows and blooms reliably indoors, flowers are most profuse in spring %26amp; summer. This grows best in high humidity conditions, in temperatures from 60-70 degrees F, indirect light, and porous soil. Keep away from sunny locations. Apply fertilizer at least once a month except in late autumn and winter. Keep your plant moist, but not soggy during these hot days of summer, but allow it to dry in winter months between waterings. So, look for a better location to put your plant, provide enough water and humidity and avoid direct sunlight. Apply fertilizer and hopefully your plant will reward you with flowers soon after.
