Starting a new border?

I want to plant a border. Its 6 metres long by 1/2 a metre with one side against a wall. Its in a south facing garden so is quite sunny. I don%26#039;t want to replant the whole border every year, a few plants will be fine. I already have 3 cala lily bulbs so want to include those. I would like to start asap so need plants that are in season now, or will be later in the year. I would like the border to have plants in all year round. Is this possible?

Starting a new border?
Yes it is possible. You need to plan out the garden for perennials, and if you want annuals you can do that, too. Search online for native plants for your area. Find out what time of the year they grow, and when is the best time to plant them. Once you have done this research it will pay off well.
Reply:yes this is what you can do mix it a little do some perennials and some annuals this is what you could plant. shrubs, or knock out shrub roses these both are low maitence just water fertilizer once a year. annuals

you could put marigolds in front where you have the lily put a bird bath make that the center then put roses or shrubs down have way then in front and a few marigold
